Terms/Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
When you hire Kingstown Web Studio, led by Susan Hogan, you agree to our terms—email hello@kingstown-web-studio.co.uk or call +44 7396 984 711 with queries.
Our services are pick and mix - before any project starts, we’ll provide a written quotation with scope and costing, forming the basis of our Service Level Agreement (SLA), signed and agreed by you.
Payment terms: 50% upfront and 50% on project completion via bacs/faster payment, non-refundable once started unless we can’t deliver. Costs may vary by up to 10%. If scope adjusts—we’ll confirm in writing.
SLAs: Timing and scope (e.g., LaunchPad: 1 day, Core Build: 5-7 days) are set from initial discovery and detailed in the SLA—we’ll notify you within 48 hours of any delays.
Ending Contracts: You may terminate with 30 days’ written notice—unpaid work stops, completed work is invoiced. We may end for non-payment (14 days’ notice).
Handover: On completion, you receive full site access; IP is yours once paid.
Confidentiality: We’ll keep your info private during and after projects.
Proofing: We strive for accuracy, but ultimate proofing is your responsibility—check deliverables carefully.
Complaints: Not satisfied? Email or call us—we’ll respond within 5 working days to resolve fairly.
Out of our control: We’re not liable for external issues (e.g., hosting downtime)—force majeure applies.
UK law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), applies.
